Restaurant and Pizzeria ``MAMA GIOSI``

Mama’s cooking is always the best, only there can you find the warmth, care and flavours of the old days. With the restaurant at Clubhotel Lago di Tenno we wanted to pay homage to Giosi who, together with Gino, took over the old inn and opened our hotel in the 1950s.

Mama Giosi’s Restaurant, inside the hotel, still serves her best dishes, simple and tasty. The Friulana with grilled courgettes and pears and Asiago cheese, the Vitello Tonnato with vegetables and capers, or the ever-present yellow polenta with mushrooms.

Among the typical Trentino recipes, there will be tasty Canederli, Strangolapreti and Bigoi, born of popular tradition. The simple, peasant ingredients – such as potatoes, stale bread and herbs – create hearty dishes.

Not to mention Goulash, a speciality also popular in Trentino, perfect for warming up during the cold months.

There is also room for lake fish and Carne Salada, as well as local cheeses and cured meats.

The cuisine you will enjoy at Mama Giosi is genuine and homemade, made with the heart and designed to delight the palate.
